Title: 4 y.o. Photog
Pencil Lines Sketch 166 (image is from Pencil Lines)
My 4 y.o. Omar is becoming quite the shutterbug. This summer I let him have the digital point-and-shoot camera, and these are his first shots taken independently--pretty good, for an almost 4 y.o., huh?
This is a loose interpretation of the current sketch over at Pencil Lines; Loose, because I started with the three wallet size photos, but since I was adding a lot more linear, square images and elements, I had to adjust the design. Instead of the large circular element as shown in the sketch, I substituted a number 4 stencil card as the title of this page. Since there is an abundance of straight lines and sharp angles, I rounded the corner of one of the papers, and added other circular elements such as the teal patterned paper, round bottle caps, buckle, eyelets, etc.
This is a great example of how sometimes the sketch can be just a jumping off point for your own creative journey, and wherever your whims might take you ;)
