I proudly present my published layout titled Winter Glow in the current, January 2011 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine (page 17). The baby of the family Adam, finally gets to bask in the spot light.

Leiskite man dar kartą pasigirti, kad šiandieną į mūsų namus atkeliavo dar viena dovana. Tai mano skrebukas, Žiemos Spindesys, kuris esa pavaizduotas dabartiniame Creating Keepsakes, 2011m. Sausio mėn. prenumerate (psl. 17). Ir dar esu be galo pamaloninta kad mano skrebukas sau pasisavino visą žurnalo puslapį (dažniau skrebukam tenka dalintis vietą su kitų autorių darbeliais).

Our family is feeling down and out lately, with stomach flu and other mysterious flu-like symptoms that linger on for a few months now. So with much joy this afternoon, I received a pick-me-up from the UPS guy, in a form of a box with a big Creating Keepsakes sticker. I immediately knew what was inside. Whoever said that it's not as exciting opening a present when you know its contents, must not have been published. I knew that inside the box is my original layout Winter Glow, along with a complementary issue of the current CK issue in which my page is featured. It's not the first time I'm published, but nevertheless, every time I hold the new magazine and anxiously fumble through the pages to find my own, the elation is undeminishable. I keep telling myself to just scrap for myself, without much regard to submitting my work for publication, but folks, I tell 'ya, this feeling is addictive!
Thanks for letting me share!
