Me, Stylish???

Would you believe if I told you that a few of my online scrapping friends have nominated me for a Stylish Blog Award? Yey! for me :) More reaffirmation that people do read my blog.
I do struggle with the dilemma: Should I post only my scrapbook and other artwork, or should I also include posts and photos that share more personal aspects of my daily life and my personality? Perhaps that is why it took me over a week after being nominated to actually post about this award.

Now to get back on the topic of this post. The Stylish Blog Award comes with a few expectations:

• Divulge 7 truths about yourself.
• Name 15 blogs that you follow and nominate them.

So here it goes, in no particular order:

1. I could listen to Vivaldi's Four Seasons no matter what mood or emotional state I am in.
2. I am convinced that my body is made up of 60% tea (not water), I drink it all day long, and if I don't finish it, I reheat it (can't throw it away); Coffee is an occasional treat, but I am loyal to only Starbucks. 
3. One of the items on my bucket list is to learn to play the piano.
4. I've read somewhere that there are two types of people: Those who get energized by parties/large social gatherings, and those that get drained of energy from them. I am the latter. If given a choice between going to a loud, hopping party or staying home in the evening's solitude hours, curled up on the couch with a good book and a cup of tea, I would rather stay home. I do like socializing, but prefer to invite just a few friends, or a couple over for dinner, rather than a houseful of guests.
5. I seem to collect a lot of cook books and home cleaning supplies in hopes that it would inspire me to use them more often...it does not ;) I also have a large nail polish collection, although I almost never paint my nails. 
6. The movie Shawshank Redemption seems to be repeated frequently on the TV, and I always get sucked in to watch it. It's always as good as the first time, even though I know the ending.
7. Things that irritate me: Spam emails. You know the type that are massively circulated and have a thousand Fw:Fw:Fw in the subject line, and ask you to send it off to 10 more people for good luck; Even those emails from friends that say: I usually don't send these, but this is really true! Or Facebook Farmville or Mafia Wars, or any other means of wasting time...Yep! I never look at these emails...instantly deleted (not even from really close friends). If you thought of me at that moment, to push that button and forward such an email to me, I'd rather have you send me a one line personal note that says: I thought about you, how are you?
8. I believe even numbers are lucky and odd ones are not (Thus, this is why I did not stop at 7 truths about myself). #8 is my favorite number; At a local grocery store, when the valet guys give me a number from the board, I always hope it's an even one. Logically, I know this must sound crazy :)

*As for 15 blogs I frequent, I really do not want to exclude anyone. Please see my blog roll: Talented Artists, on the left side. This is still not a comprehensive list, since I love to blog surf from one to another, always finding something new that inspires me.

Niu, nežinau kaip man čia gausis išversti į lietuvių kalbą. Maždaug taikysiu į bendrą mintį, minus pipiriukų primėtytų angliškam variante :)


Jau praėjo virš savaitės kada nuo kelių skrebukių susilaukiau Stilingo blogo apdovanojimus. Esu pamalointa - juk tai puikus įrodymas kad yra skaitančių mano dienoraštį, ir taip pat man geras spyris dažniau ruošti įrašus.


Apdovanojimas su taisyklėm:

• Parašyti 7 tiesas apie save.
• Paminėti 15 tinklalapių kuriuose lankausi ir taip pat juos apdovanoti 'Stylish blog award'.

Taigi, keletą mano išpažinčių apie kurias mažai kas žino:

1. Galiu klausytis Vivaldžio Keturi Sezonai nepriklausomai nuo mano nuotaikos ar emocinės būsenos...visada mane gerai nuteikia.
2. Ištisą dieną geriu arbatą; Kavą retai, bet jei susigundau, tai tiktai, be jokios išimties Starbucks kava.
3. JAV yra populiaru surašyti 'bucket list' sąrašą; Tai yra, 'kol dar kojų nepakračiau' sąrašas kuriame išvardini ką pageidauji pasiekti prieš mirtį. Vienas, neišblėstantis mano noras yra išmokti groti pianinu.
4. Sakoma kad yra du žmogaus asmenybės tipai: Tie kurie pasikrauna energija nuo didelių sueigų ir ūžančio bendravimo, ir tie kurie išsenka nuo jų. Aš esu pastarojoj kategorijoj. Jei turėčiau pasiūlymą vykti į labai didelį balių arba likti namų tylumoj, susirangius ant sofkutės su arbata ir knyga rankose, be išimties likčiau namie. Neesu antisociali, bet mėgstu artimesnį bendravimą bei pokalbį tik su keliais svečiais, o ne visą minią jų :)
5. Pastebėjau savo tendenciją kaupti kulinarines knygas ir namų valymo priemones. Pasamonėj tikiu kad tą turint, mane įkvėps dažniau jas vartoti, deja... .Taip pat turiu nemažą nagų lako kolekciją, deja dabar beveik niekad nedažau nagų.
6. Filmą Pabėgimas iš Šoušenko labai dažnai rodo per TV, ir visada įklimpu prisėsti ir dar kartą pažiūrėti nepaisant tai kad esu mačius jau n kartų.
7. Mane nervina SPAM (labiausiai nuo draugų ir pažystamų): t.y. masiškai siunčiamos, nepageidaujamos elektroninio pašto žinutės; Žinote tokias kurių pavadinimo laukelyje būna: Fw:Fw:Fw tūkstantį kartų; Arba paaiškinimas: "Aš tokių laiškų nepersiunčiu, bet šis tikra teisybė!" Tokios žinutės kurias privalai išsiūsti 10-čiai žmonių kad būtum laiminga; Veidaknygės žaidimai: Farmville ar Mafijos karas, ir visa kitą ką aš skaitau kvailas laiko netausojimas.  Būtų daug smagiau susilaukti nors kelių žodelių asmeniškos žinutės: "Apie tave pagalvojau, kaip sekasi?," negu gauti spam. Visada, be išimties, tokius masiškai platinamus el.laiškus ištrinu neskaičius (netgi nuo artimų pažystamų).
8. Esu įsitikinus kad poriniai numeriai man neša laimę, o neporianiai atvirkščiai (todėl nesugėbėjau parašyti 7 tiesų apie save:) 

*Išrinkti tik 15 lankomų dienoraščių aš nesugebėčiau. Kiekvieną kartą apsilankau kur kitur, ir taip šokinėju nuo vieno tinklalapio prie kito su viltimi kad atrasiu kažką naujo kas mane labai įkvėps. Turiu nemažą lankomų dienoraščių sąrašą kairėj: 'Talented Artists'. Ten tik dalis mano lankomų blogų.
