June15th layout for Once Upon a Sketch: "Life with Adam...

Title: Life with Adam
Pavadinimas: Gyvenimas su Adomu

This layout is inspired by the french movie Amelie. If you have not seen it, I consider it a must for any creative/artistic person who I'm sure would appreciate it.

Šis skrebukas esa įkvėptas prancūzų filmo Amelie. Jei esate kūrybinga asmenybė ir iki šiol dar nematėte šio filmo, labai patariu ilgiau nedelsti.

**I have rotated the sketch to show how I interpreted this assignment.

This is the June 15th sketch for Once Upon a Sketch (OUAS) challenge blog. For more information on how you may participate and have a chance at winning awesome prizes, please visit OUAS blog here.

A technique I would like to share with my readers: The relief molding medallions you see in opposing corners of the page are hand-made by me. It is actually so simple, and it's a technique I've picked up from the super talented Aussie's Maxine Hazebroek's book: Style...It's a Matter of Fashion.
I've recreated this stamping technique in my other lithuanian blog Scrap Manija; Even though it's not in english, the step-by-step photos make it easy to follow.

* To make these plaster-like medallions you'll need:
1. Molding paste
2. Spatula or old consumer card to spread the paste.
3. Cardstock
4. Foam stamp.

*Directions:
1. Spread the molding paste onto the cardstock uniformly, using a spatula or a consumer card. You want a thick enough layer that when you stamp into it that the stamp would have adequate thickness to sink into.
2. Wet a foam stamp and stamp into the paste (the water helps release the paste so that it does not get stuck in the grooves of the stamp.
3. After the paste is dry to touch, then paint with acrylic paint and using your fingers or a sponge apply metallic paint only to the raised areas.
(*I've used an old Making Memories foam stamp, which I've cut diagonally to create two page corners.)

Next, here's a close-up of The intricate cut Imaginarium Designs chipboard border which I painted a gold color.

**Imaginarium Designs sells their amazing chipboard through their storefront Seriously Scrapbooking.

Tiek klaviatūra pribarškinus anglų kalba, bei atlikus visas dizainerės pareigas paminėti gerbiamus remėjus ir pan., išgaruoja man noras žodis į žodį versti į lietuvių kalbą. Nepyksit?

Tad mieli skaitytojai, šį kartą tik priminsiu jum seniau ScrapManijoj demonstruotą techniką čia. Technika yra savigamybos faktūros mediumo reljefinės plytelės kurias panaudojau šio skrebuko dviejuose kampuose.

**Kviečiu visas skrebukes priimti šį Once Upon a Sketch iššūkį (eskizas Jum pateiktas viršuj).
Reikalavimai bei tema: "A Moment in Time"- "Momentas laike": Būtina parašyti bent keturias eilutes teksto (bent kaip: spausdinant ar rankų raštu).
Konkurso taisyklės, pridavimo terminas ir visa kita randasi Once Upon a Sketch saite čia.
Ačiū kad apsilankėte!

Thank you for your visit and kind words,
Irma

Taip taip taip, Amelija is Monmartro laaaaabai geras filmas, kazkaip paziurejus ji man visada pakyla nuotaika ir atsiranda noras nuveikti kazka idomaus ir netiketo :)
O skrebukas sita photo booth tema gavosi labai idomus. Man patiko skrebuko pagrindas su senovinem nuotraukom. Juk kazkada ir musu dabartines modernios nuotraukos ateities kartoms atrodys senovines...
Zodziu, liuks! :)

Nu ir skanų saldainuką tu čia pametėjai ... Superinis darbas.
Pagrindas man būtų neįveikiama problema ... nes tikrai nežinočiau kur tokį pritaikyti ... plokštelės kampuose, juostelė ir užrašas per vidurį ... ena sau ... bendra visuma atrodo išties skaniai :) Vienas iš mėgstamiausių !!!!!
