Layout: 'Reading with Grandpa'...

Reading with Grandpa
Skaitau su Seneliu
[more photos below]

I really liked the entire sheet of the acrylic stamps 'Love Books ST506 '  by Hero Arts - Studio Calico, so unable to choose just one, I've used the entire sheet to stamp and emboss the above card.

***
This page was inspired by a few online prompts:

* My fellow lithuanian scrapper's Assol's challenge to use a theme of 'contrasts and opposites'; My interpretation of this challenge was to use opposites of old (grandpa) and young (son)....oak (old) and acorn (young).

*Simon Says Stamp: Favorite Technique: My technique being stamping a whole sheet of acrylic stamps to get a larger background. Also, I seem to never get a dark enough image stamping with just black Color Box pigment ink, so additionally embossing it with black powder makes the image truly black.

*The other challenge I was inspired was CSI Case No. 32 with the following inspiration board (see photo below).
I've used the required color palette with a sneaky addition of mustard yellow to make the colors 'pop' a bit more.
-For 'Evidence' I've used:
1.) Textured paper background which is raised relief/embossed, and...
2.) Dots on the washi tape.

-For the 'Testimony':
I've journaled about a collection of National Geographic Kids books which I've brought on our trip to Jordan to visit our sons' grandparents. Grandpa was more than happy to read with his grandson. Here in the photo they're reading about venomous snakes.

Šis skrebukas esa įkveptas kelių konkursų:
-Assol: 'Kontrastai ir Antonimai'; Šiam skrebukui pasirinkau ne spalvinį sprendimą o teminį: 'Senukas/Jaunuolis'.....'Ąžuolas/Gilė.

***Su šiuo skrebuku nedalyvauju mainų rato konkurse ;)

-CSI Case No.32: vartoti pateiktą viršuj virtualią plančetę kaip pradinį tašką.

O geras. Nereali nuotrauka. Su tokia bet koks skrebukas atrodytu gerai. O tavo rankose jis tikrai tapo meno kuriniu. Labai patinka tie stampai apie meile knygoms - man tai labai artima, nes pati esu didele knygu myletoja. Jau ne pirma karta matau, kad panaudoji knygos puslapi, labai gerai ziurisi.

Net negaliu išskirti kažką, man viskas patiko šiame skrebuke.

Nors ne, galiu, tie štampukai apie knygas - nerealūs. :)
